Are you passionate about crafting and optimizing business systems? We're seeking a Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in planning, designing, and launching efficient business, financial, and operations systems that support our core organizational functions. While your main focus will be on engineering, you'll also receive cross-training in operational business areas and other assigned functions. Key Responsibilities: Adhere to and implement policies and procedures outlined in our Systems Delivery Methodology (SDM) and Project Management Office (PMO). Analyze, design, test, and provide production support for engineering systems like PTC Windchill and Creo Parametric. Proactively troubleshoot and address issues within engineering systems to minimize disruptions and enhance performance. Act as a backup for operational business areas when needed. Evaluate the effectiveness of existing application systems and develop strategies for improvement. Prepare and present reports, recommendations, and alternatives to address operational challenges. Lead or participate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications and enhancements. Conduct cost-benefit analyses and prepare business cases for system implementations. Ensure compatibility and interoperability of computer application systems. Provide orientation and training to end-users. Conduct research on software and hardware products to support purchasing decisions. Mentor junior staff members and provide guidance to third-party resources. Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Accounting, or Management Information Systems. 5+ years of related work experience. Expertise with PTC Windchill and/or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems required. Familiarity with CAD systems such as Creo Parametric or Solidworks beneficial. Experience with Oracle EBS and/or SAP a plus. Technical Skills: Theoretical knowledge of networks, PCs, Servers, Database Management Systems. Experience with commercial off-the-shelf application software systems. Proficiency in Microsoft desktop operating systems, office applications, and Google Workspace. Familiarity with data extract, transformation, and loading techniques and programs. Business Skills: Understanding of end-to-end business processes. Experience in overseeing the analysis, design, development, implementation, and support of automated business application software. Knowledge of sound project management techniques and software tools. Other Skills: Excellent communication skills in written and verbal form. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Interest in and understanding of organizational goals and objectives. Good interpersonal and teaming skills.
