Job Description

Are you ready to take the lead in capturing exciting opportunities? Join our dynamic team as a Capture Manager and play a key role in driving our business development initiatives. We're seeking an organized, customer-focused individual with excellent collaboration skills to work remotely most days and bring a bit of excitement to the office every Thursday. Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and execute capture strategies along with detailed plans, including call plans. Embrace and contribute to our group processes for business development, assembling and managing a capture team, engaging with existing clients and partners, and effectively communicating our organization's core capabilities. Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop solutions for assigned opportunities and manage relationships with partners and staff. Participate in various business planning activities such as pipeline reviews, operating plan development, bid agenda creation, opportunity gate reviews, black hat sessions, win theme and discriminator workshops, and proposal reviews. Oversee the proposal phase, managing all activities required to turn qualified opportunities into successful wins. Conduct after-action reviews for all business opportunity capture participants, documenting lessons learned and identifying necessary adjustments to capture techniques, strategy, and actions. Qualifications: Bring your organizational prowess, excellent customer service skills, and professional persistence to the table. Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related sales/marketing experience or a Master's degree with 2+ years of related experience is preferred. Showcase excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, gaining support and establishing working relationships with clients, managers, peers, and staff. Demonstrate a team-oriented mindset with strong reasoning and communication skills, both oral and written. Excel in all areas of business development, including opportunity qualification, capture strategy, customer visits, relationship development with clients and competition, team leadership, and more. Experience with government agencies such as the Department of Commerce, Department of Transportation, etc., and knowledge of government contracting is highly desired. Strong computer skills are a must, with familiarity in online tools used by the Federal Government for solicitations and knowledge of Federal GWACs and GSA schedules preferred.
