About the Role We're seeking a dynamic Cyber Security Instructor to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging training sessions and courses covering a broad spectrum of cybersecurity topics, including application security, network security, information security, and malware analysis. Additionally, you'll play a pivotal role in curriculum development and provide ongoing support to students throughout their learning journey. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity classes, focusing on foundational concepts such as Security+ skills. Educate students on various industry security frameworks, including ISO, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS. Guide and mentor students through hands-on projects utilizing essential tools like Linux, Kali Linux, CLI, and Metasploit Framework. Cover different security lifecycles, including incident response, penetration testing, and digital forensics. Preferred Qualifications In-depth understanding of application security, network security, information security, and malware analysis. Prior experience in delivering cybersecurity training or teaching in a related field. Proficiency in relevant cybersecurity tools and technologies. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work autonomously and remotely. Relevant certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., Security+, CEH) are advantageous. Previous experience in the IT industry or cybersecurity consulting is desirable. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred. Compensation and Benefits Hourly pay ranging from $20 to $25, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Additional compensation available for extra work hours and exceptional performance.
