Key Responsibilities: As a Data Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in our day-to-day operations, focusing on the development of our next-generation automated malware analysis system. Your expertise will be essential in crafting innovative solutions and collaborating across functional groups to drive innovation. Your responsibilities will include: Designing and developing database solutions and data models. Implementing coding languages such as Python, Java, or Spark, integrating them with backend database platforms. Deploying and managing database technologies like SQL or Mongo. Working with big data technologies including MapReduce, Accumulo, HBASE, Cassandra, or Elastic. Leveraging containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes. Leading small to medium-scale projects throughout their lifecycle, collaborating with team members and documenting progress. Mentoring junior team members, facilitating training, and guiding users in formulating requirements. Conducting feasibility studies and estimating resource requirements for software tasks. Basic Qualifications: Proficiency in database development, design, and data modeling. Experience with coding languages such as Python, Java, or Spark. Familiarity with database technologies like SQL or Mongo. Knowledge of big data technologies including MapReduce, Accumulo, HBASE, Cassandra, or Elastic. Ability to work effectively within a team environment and lead projects. TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems with 4+ years of experience in software development, Master's degree with 2+ years of experience, or 8+ years of experience in lieu of a degree. Additional Qualifications: Experience with industry best practices for database solutions in cloud environments, including AWS. Compensation: Salary at our Company is competitive and determined based on various factors. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD), reflecting our commitment to fair and equitable compensation. Work Model: We prioritize flexibility and collaboration in our work culture, whether in-person or remote. Depending on the role, you may work remotely, hybrid, or onsite as needed.
