Our affiliated organization is seeking a seasoned data leader passionate about driving a culture of data-driven decision-making. As part of our information systems department, you will empower our teams with robust data quality, management, and visualization solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement new data infrastructures, including data lakes, warehouses, dataflows, pipelines, semantic models, and reports. Lead migration efforts from legacy on-premises SQL Server systems to modern Microsoft Fabric-based infrastructure. Classify and organize data based on established taxonomy structures. Collaborate closely with data architects to ensure high data quality and alignment with organizational needs. Optimize data processing using cutting-edge tools such as notebooks, dataflows, pipelines, semantic models, and reports. Foster a positive, inclusive culture and contribute to a collaborative team environment. Experience and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field preferred. Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in C#. Proficient in relational databases, SQL query optimization, and DDL scripting. Strong knowledge of Power BI or similar data visualization tools. Experience with data platform technologies like Kafka, Hadoop, Spark, with preference for Azure platforms (HD Insight, Synapse, Data Lake, Data Factory). Self-motivated with a passion for building high-quality, testable code and leading data product teams. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and successful track record in product delivery. Previous exposure to mortgage industry and MISMO model a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Additional Details: This is a remote position. Salary Range: $122,000 - $130,000 annually, plus eligible for annual performance-based bonus.
