We are currently seeking a passionate Field Network Engineer (FNE) to join our team. Role Overview: As a Field Network Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our clients' technical environments. You'll serve as their primary technical expert, ensuring uptime, resolving issues promptly, and enhancing their overall computing experience. With a focus on exceptional service, you'll contribute to our company's positive reputation and foster strong client relationships. Responsibilities: Pre-Sales: Conduct technical assessments and produce detailed recommendations for clients. Collaborate with the Business Development team to showcase the value of our services. Develop technical project plans and assist with client on-boarding processes. Technical: Lead the implementation and configuration of recommended solutions. Configure monitoring systems to ensure the health of client networks. Collaborate with internal teams to execute management and maintenance plans. Troubleshoot and resolve user computing issues promptly. General: Pursue ongoing training and certification opportunities. Cultivate positive relationships with clients, engineers, and vendors. Adhere to documentation standards for customer network activities. Required Skills: Computer Skills: Proficiency in server administration, including Windows Server and Active Directory. Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare and Hyper-V. Familiarity with networking technologies, firewalls, and cloud solutions. Knowledge of RMM tools and mobile operating systems. Excellent Client Support: Strong communication skills for in-person and remote support. Certifications: Valid driver's license and insurance. Microsoft and Cisco certifications are preferred. Other Abilities: Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong technical writing skills. Valued Qualifications: Previous experience in relevant roles or certifications.
