Are you eager to take ownership of core FP&A functions at a dynamic and expanding company? If so, keep reading! We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our vibrant and fast-growing Financial Planning & Analysis team as the second member of our team. At our category-defining company, you will have the opportunity to make a significant and measurable impact. As the owner and manager of our global expense planning and forecasting process, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Director of Finance and various department heads to gain a deep understanding of our business and drive swift decision-making. Join our small but mighty Financial Planning & Analysis team at an industry-leading organization! We are the forefront of GraphQL innovation, with renowned companies like Netflix, Expedia, Peloton, DoorDash, The New York Times, and Zillow as just a few examples of our esteemed customers. Our open-source product garners millions of downloads every week. In fact, Gartner predicts that by 2025, 50% of companies will be utilizing GraphQL, and we proudly hold the position as the clear market leader. GraphQL is revolutionizing the software development landscape by introducing a groundbreaking layer called the supergraph, enabling engineering teams to ship faster and create richer user experiences than ever before. Create financial models encompassing diverse workflows, such as headcount forecasting, operating and capitalized expenses, and revenue recognition. Incorporate analytical insights derived from these financial models into our global forecast model, ensuring clear articulation of the financial impact across the three core statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow). Assist the Accounting team in the month-end-close process by preparing monthly budget variance analysis (BVA) and delivering other insightful dashboard and reporting packages. Work with the FP&A team to develop Apollo's long-term financial model and participate in the annual budget planning process. Support the preparation of materials for the CFO and Executive Team, including board decks, investor materials, and executive updates. Become proficient in navigating our ERP & HRIS systems, such as Netsuite and Rippling. Conduct ad-hoc analyses to inform teams on operating strategies, expense savings recommendations, and other optimizations in our business. About You: You possess experience with Enterprise SaaS or have worked in a high-growth pre-IPO company. Your expertise lies in financial modeling, and you are proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint. You excel at analyzing data, drawing meaningful conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations. Your creative thinking, self-motivation, and ability to bring structure to ambiguous situations make you a valuable asset in a rapidly growing business. You have a proven track record of taking initiative and seeing projects through to completion. You are adept at working independently and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment. Your communication skills are excellent, both verbally and in written form. Bonus points if you hold a degree or possess equivalent work experience in Finance, Business, or Economics. Compensation: In addition to the competitive salary range of $125,000 - $150,000 per year, we offer equity and comprehensive benefits.
