Level I: 3 years of experience. The candidate will perform light clerical duties within an accounting function. This role definitely needs a candidate with Excel experience already. Filter, sort, Vlookup, formulas, etc. The candidate will be pulling data from multiple systems and formatting data so analysis, journals or account reconciliations can be completed. Responsibilities include: Typing Matching payments Checking items on purchase orders Preparing bank deposits Performing routine calculations with specific instructions Required Skills: 10-key skills by touch or sight Familiarity with computers Basic principles of Accounts Payable (A/P) or Accounts Receivable (A/R) Knowledge of bank reconciliation functions Additional Responsibilities: Answering customer inquiries Researching problems and/or complaints Creating and editing spreadsheets Performing any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records
