Job Description

04 - 172331 mp A manufacturing company is seeking a Human Resource Specialist to act as an employee champion, expert administrator, and change agent within a culture that embraces diversity. You will work Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Responsibilities: Provide a variety of human resources services; Recruiting, orientation and training, health and safety, employee relations, development, and retention of talented employees Work with HR Manager to identify ways to attract and retain talent, conduct phone interviews, filter candidates to open positions, assist with on-boarding and orientation of new hires, and conducting employee training Ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations, company guidelines, and HR policies and procedures to secure quality, efficiency, and effectiveness Prepare reports for the HR and Finance Department, process weekly payroll using ADP Workforce Now, and perform other administration duties Build and maintain strong, co-operative relationships within the department and organization and act as change agent to support the roll out of new organizational initiatives Assist with actively developing and maintaining a recruitment process and work with agencies to update open positions and actively recruit for open positions Attend job fairs and community events to maintain a positive image within our community Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Must have a minimum 2 years Human Resource experience Must have experience with ADP Workforce Now Must have demonstrated ability to manage projects Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite along with accurate data entry skills Must have excellent communication, customer service, interpersonal, and organizational skills Must have the ability to resolve conflicts, be responsive and persuasive at all levels, and able to adapt to changing priorities The ability to pay a high attention to detail and multi-task in a fast-paced environment is important Must have the ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
