Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Instructional Designer (ID) to join our dynamic course design and development team. As an integral part of our collaborative environment, the ID will work closely with academic partners and various team members to enhance existing courses and create new ones in the IT sector. This role will play a pivotal role in ensuring our courses are not only effective but also engaging and of the highest quality. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of courses across Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral levels in IT and related fields. Establish a clear alignment between program outcomes, course competencies, assessments, and learning activities to enhance learner proficiency. Collaborate with academic partners and project teams to identify learning needs and translate them into effective learning solutions. Oversee the design, development, and delivery of online course content and materials using innovative multimedia technologies, ensuring adherence to established processes for flexibility and reusability. Stay updated on UX design trends and technological advancements, providing insights and recommendations to enhance our learning experiences. Required Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels. Aptitude for and adaptability to new technologies in a fast-paced environment. Experience developing online courses, particularly in IT subjects like programming and software development. Strong thinking with a focus on business implications and operational efficiency. Proficiency in project management, with the ability to oversee projects from inception to completion while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines. Enthusiastic about learning and contributing to a collaborative team environment. Solid understanding of user experience design principles, always considering the learner's perspective. Proficient in Instructional Design Methodologies such as Backward Design, ADDIE, and SAM. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 1 year of instructional design experience OR at least 3 years of teaching experience with curriculum responsibilities. Familiarity with adult learning theory, competency-based education, and online pedagogy. Experience working in CMS and LMS environments to develop online materials. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Additional Information: Occasional travel may be required (0-10%). Must be capable of lifting up to 10 lbs. Position primarily operates in a typical office setting with mobility between floors. Accessibility to information via computer is essential. Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations and work effectively with others. Regular and punctual attendance is required.
