Job Summary: As an IT Support Specialist II, you'll provide escalated technical assistance and support for incoming queries related to computer systems, software, and hardware. You'll also manage IT infrastructure changes and lead various IT support projects. Key Responsibilities: • Provide leadership and Tier II technical support, assisting the IT Support Specialist I • Implement new software/hardware and maintain existing infrastructure • Collaborate with staff and volunteers to develop effective solutions • Maintain standard machine images and assist with patching updates • Lead investigations into software/hardware issues and determine appropriate solutions • Offer onsite and remote support to end users • Direct IT projects and implement new systems/software • Serve as backup for the IT Manager during their absence • Participate in on-call rotation What We're Looking For: • Associate's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience • Minimum 2 years of help desk experience preferred • Technical certifications are a plus • Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize and multitask • Excellent customer service and communication skills • Proficiency with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Suite • Familiarity with hybrid environments • Strong knowledge of network aspects (LAN/WAN, ports, IPs, server knowledge) Physical Requirements: • Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods • Lift, push, and pull a minimum of forty pounds with reasonable accommodations • Stand, bend, stoop, and crouch as needed • Work in an environment with exposure to animals and allergens • Occasionally drive company vehicles Schedule: • May include weekends and holidays • Some on-call responsibilities What We Offer: • Opportunity to make a real difference in animal welfare • Collaborative and inclusive work environment • Commitment to professional growth and development Our Core Values: • Compassion: Treating animals and people with kindness and respect • Stewardship: Accountability and transparency in our actions and resource use • Integrity: Staying true to our mission and making decisions that benefit animals and our community • Excellence: Continual learning, innovation, and development of our team • Collaboration: Seeking strategic partnerships to advance animal welfare • Service: Dedicated to serving our communities in all we do Join our team of 200+ employees who are united by these core values and committed to providing excellent service to the animals in our care and our community.
