Job Description
We are seeking a versatile and experienced individual for the role of Microsoft Azure DevOps Trainer / .NET Lead Developer. In this remote position, you will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering training programs while actively participating in the hands-on development and maintenance of Gitlab tools, pipelines, and infrastructure, including Microsoft ASP.NET / WebApi development. Additionally, you will be involved in migrating existing ASP.NET applications to High Available systems in Azure GCC cloud, implementing Gitlab Pipelines, and adopting Agile methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle. Responsibilities: Training: Develop and deliver Gitlab/Agile training programs for internal audiences. Create and maintain training materials, including presentations, handouts, and exercises. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and provide feedback to participants. Stay updated on the latest Gitlab/DevOps trends and technologies. Development: Develop and maintain Gitlab tools, Gitlab Pipelines, and infrastructure. Deploy, migrate, and maintain IIS to Azure Cloud, App Service, SQL Database, and Key Vault. Automate Gitlab/DevOps processes using scripting languages and automation tools. Troubleshoot and resolve Gitlab/DevOps issues. Contribute to the development of DevOps documentation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years of experience in Gitlab/DevOps. 5+ years of experience in Microsoft .NET Development (ASP.NET, MVC, WebApi, IIS). Proven experience developing and delivering training materials. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong technical writing skills and documentation experience. Proficiency with various DevOps tools and technologies (e.g., Visual Studio Code, Docker, Azure). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Agile methodologies. Experience with Azure cloud. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Ansible or Flyway. Required/Desired Skills: Experience in training for small groups. Proficiency in Gitlab. Strong background in Microsoft .NET C# ASP.NET, WebApi application development. Familiarity with Agile Software Development Life Cycle. Experience with Azure Public Cloud services. Proficiency with Windows Servers, IIS, SQL Server, and PowerShell. Familiarity with Linux (Redhat) and Shell Scripting. Please note: Candidates will be required to attend a second ONSITE interview. Remote candidates must be able to come onsite to pick up a laptop.
