What You'll Do: Design, develop, and implement software for avionics systems like TCAS, ACAS, and ADS-B. Lead and mentor project team members, providing technical expertise and guidance. Work independently on complex tasks, applying your extensive knowledge and creativity to solve problems. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure projects meet rigorous safety and performance standards. We're Looking For: A passionate and experienced Avionics Software Engineer with 8+ years in the field. In-depth knowledge of TCAS, ACAS, ADS-B, and extensive transponder experience. Solid foundation in software development principles and best practices (DO-178C, structured environments). Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team. Bonus points if you have experience with: Real-Time Embedded Software Engineering (C/C++) ARINC standards (429, 735, 718) RTCA DO-185, DO-181, DO-260, DO-300 Avionics and surveillance systems knowledge What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package ($90-$110 hourly, 401(k), health/dental insurance).
