Job Description

We are currently seeking a talented Quality Engineer III to join our dynamic team. While this role begins as a contract position, it offers the exciting opportunity to transition into a full-time role within three to four months. Responsibilities: Develop Test Automation Solutions: Design, build, and deploy test automation solutions and frameworks for complex software systems, ensuring their quality and stability. Troubleshoot and Triage: Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex system issues, collaborating closely with project teams to identify root causes and implement process improvements. Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to other Test Automation Engineers, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices. Collaborative Approach: Work closely with product management, project management, development teams, and stakeholders to define project objectives and testing requirements. Functional Testing: Write and execute functional test cases as necessary to ensure the quality of software applications. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience. 4+ years of experience in test automation. Proficiency in multiple programming or scripting languages, with expertise in Selenium framework. Demonstrated experience in developing functional, load, and batch test automation solutions. Familiarity with test automation frameworks, distributed version-control management systems like GIT, and object-oriented programming concepts. Expertise in JAVA, SQL queries, and identifying technical issues independently. Additional Preferred Skills: Prior experience with loan applications or banking/financial services is highly preferred. Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Junit, TestNG, Cucumber, Appium, JMeter, SoapUI, Jenkins, Maven, etc. Knowledge of Non-Functional Testing (Performance, Security, Accessibility Testing).
