Job Description
We are looking for a skilled SAP Linux Certified Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and optimizing our SAP environments on Linux servers. Your expertise in SAP architecture, Linux operating systems, and related technologies will ensure the performance, reliability, and security of our SAP systems. Key Responsibilities: Installation and Configuration: Install and configure SAP applications on Linux-based servers. Perform system upgrades and apply patches to SAP environments. Configure and manage SAP system landscapes (development, test, production). System Administration: Monitor SAP system performance and troubleshoot issues. Conduct regular system maintenance tasks including backups, restores, and disaster recovery planning. Manage user access and security within SAP systems. Optimization and Tuning: Optimize system performance through regular tuning and maintenance. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in SAP applications and Linux environments. Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP users. Collaborate with SAP functional and development teams to address system-related issues. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures. Generate and analyze system performance and usage reports. Report on system health and recommend improvements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Certifications: Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC) is required. SAP Certified Technology Associate SAP System Administration (SAP HANA as a Database) with Linux. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SAP system administration on Linux platforms. Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (Red Hat, SUSE, Ubuntu) and command-line tools. Experience with SAP Basis administration, SAP HANA, and other SAP databases. Skills: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA migration and upgrade processes. Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM). Understanding of ITIL practices and principles.
