Position Overview: As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you'll lead the charge in designing, building, and optimizing our cloud-based data infrastructure. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing scalability, reliability, and security within our data ecosystem. Responsibilities: Lead: Design and implement scalable and secure data solutions using cutting-edge cloud technologies. Manage: Develop and maintain robust data pipelines to support seamless data ingestion, processing, and delivery. Collaborate: Create tools for data analytics teams to optimize product performance. Analyze: Oversee the full lifecycle management of our cloud environment. Team Up: Collaborate with IT teams to integrate configurations and deployment tools. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in network or systems administration/engineering. 2+ years of hands-on experience with cloud technologies. Proficiency in SQL and Python; familiarity with Scala, R, or Spark is a plus. Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, and with data warehouse and ETL tools. Strong understanding of data modeling, governance, and security best practices. Familiarity with Azure DataBricks, Azure Data Factory, and other Azure services. Experience with big data tools (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and data pipeline management. Project management skills with a focus on organizational excellence. Preferred experience with Fabric OneLake and Azure networking configurations.
