Position Overview: We are seeking several experienced Senior Software Developers, Back End, to join our team remotely for an exciting project with a government partner. In this role, you will collaborate with a talented group of professionals to develop, enhance, and maintain mission-critical applications. Responsibilities: Develop high-quality, scalable software solutions in C#, adhering to best practices and standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and provide ongoing support. Contribute to system design and continuous improvement initiatives. Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals and engineering procedures. Assist in conducting functional testing to ensure software reliability and performance. Requirements: Minimum of 6 years of experience in web-based software development using technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, MVC, REST, and JSON. Proficiency in architecture and design patterns, with a focus on clean coding principles. Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Postgres) and version control systems (e.g., Git, Subversion). Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, GitLab). Excellent communication skills and fluency in English. Must be a US Citizen and hold an active Secret Clearance or be eligible to obtain one. Education and Certification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field preferred. Industry certification required for IAT Level II in accordance with DoD 8570 (e.g., CompTIA Security+), willingness to obtain prior to start date.
