The Role We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer I - Backend to contribute to our mission of building the world's leading reputation management platform. Join our fast-growing team dedicated to delivering innovative data products that redefine how companies engage with customers, employees, and other stakeholders. As a Senior Engineer on our Data and API delivery team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing new features, guiding architectural decisions, and mentoring junior engineers. You will collaborate closely with frontend, platform, DevOps, and data science teams to enhance customer access to critical insights through our API. Key Responsibilities Develop data and service-oriented pipelines with a focus on delivering real-time insights. Implement robust testing, QA, and continuous delivery practices for data pipeline code. Contribute to architecture decisions, particularly in data architecture. Collaborate across teams to integrate data insights into product functionality. Create scalable services that promote code reuse and accelerate feature development. Foster a collaborative environment, explore new technologies, and support innovation. Professional Qualifications Proficiency in Python, with experience in FastAPI preferred. Minimum 3 years of Python development experience. Practical experience with relational or non-relational databases in production environments. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into effective data architecture. Experience designing data pipelines, microservices architecture, and/or serverless lambda-based solutions for at least 2 years. Agile mindset with a focus on engineering excellence. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure services, preferably AWS. BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. Nice to Have Familiarity with data orchestration tools such as Airflow or DBT. Experience with containerized workloads using Docker or Kubernetes. Work Location This is a fully remote position. Ideal candidates should be able to work Eastern Daylight Time hours and reside in regions such as Canada, the US, Brazil, or LATAM.
