Job Title: Social Media Marketing Lead Location: Remote; must reside in one of the following states: WA, WY, WI, IL, IN, FL, OH, or NC. Responsibilities: Social Content Creation: Craft compelling video, imagery, and captions for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube. Ensure all content receives necessary approvals prior to posting. Content Strategy and Scheduling: Develop a robust social media calendar aligned with key marketing initiatives. Coordinate social scheduling across platforms like Pinterest and LinkedIn, integrating seamlessly with general marketing activities. Paid Social: Identify top-performing posts for boosting and manage digital advertising within approved budgets and objectives. Webinar Lead and Host: Organize and lead monthly webinars, including recruiting influencers as guest hosts and occasionally hosting webinars. Community Management: Engage with our community by responding to comments on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, and LinkedIn. Performance Tracking and Analytics: Monitor and report on social media performance metrics. Conduct A/B testing and leverage data insights to optimize campaign effectiveness and ROI. Implement custom tracking for links to Boom Learning and use UTM parameters for other company properties. Writing and Editing: Create promotional content, including email copy, social posts, and blog articles. Edit content from team members to align with brand voice and clarity. Requirements: Educational Background: Preference for candidates with experience as a public-school teacher or special education educator. Additional advantage for those with expertise in professional development or curriculum design. Proven Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in content creation and organic social audience growth. Portfolio or links to previous work required. Video and Design Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools for creating visually appealing social media assets. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach. Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team setting. Good Judgment: Respect for trademark and copyright regulations. Attention to detail in obtaining and managing publicity releases. Ability to respond thoughtfully to customer inquiries. Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing campaign performance metrics. Experience with Google Analytics 4 preferred.
