Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer/Architect with expertise in Azure to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and managing a robust cloud infrastructure that supports our global operations and ensures the security and reliability of our services. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and develop an Azure cloud environment that integrates seamlessly with our products and services. Develop and submit technical designs, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and gaining stakeholder approval. Manage Azure accounts, develop Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), and implement and maintain services to meet business needs. Design and implement a secure network infrastructure and establish security policies. Oversee the implementation and administration of Azure services, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Develop and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures. Monitor and analyze cloud infrastructure performance, security, and resource utilization. Develop a cost-efficient environment and track resource usage and associated costs. Collaborate with the Development team to deploy system changes securely. Coordinate access to cloud resources and administer account provisioning. Develop and maintain incident response protocols to protect operational services. Perform operations and administration for the cloud environment, including patching and configuration management. Coordinate licensing and purchasing to support lab operations. Provide support to the Customer Network Operations Center (NOC) as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field. 10+ years of experience in cloud service development and administration. Azure certifications required; experience in DevOps and AI/Knowledge-based solutions preferred. Experience with hybrid cloud implementations and industrial control systems (ICS). In-depth knowledge of Azure storage, compute environments, and network/security controls. Proficient in cloud environment monitoring for security, performance, and cost control. Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Experience in project management and leading complex assignments. Ability to work across different time zones and occasional travel may be required. Must meet US federal background check and citizenship requirements.
