Role Summary: The Senior Commercial Loan Production Assistant possesses expert knowledge and ensures seamless transition of approved loans into documentation. Working closely with the loan officer and Commercial Loan Processors under tight deadlines, this role supports the fulfillment of loans and serves as a resource within the Commercial Services department. Additionally, this position involves mentoring, coaching, and training peers. Remote Work Opportunity: This position offers the flexibility to work fully remote from Washington State. What You Will Be Doing: - Coordinate preliminary title reports, flood determinations, real estate tax tracking, and UCC general searches, promptly reporting any issues to the Credit Analyst and Commercial Lender. - Manage appraisal bids through a third-party appraisal management company. - Collaborate with the Portfolio Management Team to ensure timely annual reviews and documentation for sold loans. - Conduct quality reviews of monthly loan production reports. - Collaborate with Commercial Loan Officers to gather and review necessary documentation for accurate and timely loan submissions. - Conduct annual reviews of environmental tracking data for real estate collateral, addressing critical issues in coordination with the lender and supervisor. - Assist in training commercial loan processors and ensure accuracy in loan document creation using the Laser Pro program. - Keep supervisors informed of member concerns, work progress, and offer guidance to other Commercial Loan Production Assistants or Processors. - Participate in creating and reviewing written procedures for accuracy and detail. About You: - Foster a cohesive team environment and effectively communicate ideas both verbally and in writing. - Demonstrate professionalism in interactions with members and colleagues while handling sensitive information with integrity. - Proficiently navigate the core operating system (Fiserv DNA). - Understand credit approvals, title reports, and organizational documents, ensuring compliance with lending policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. What You Will Need: - Ability to prioritize tasks, accept instructions, and manage multiple requests under tight deadlines with minimal supervision. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) and a proactive approach to learning and improving job performance. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a solid understanding of general real estate terminology preferred. - Minimum five years of clerical/data entry experience, PC proficiency, and at least four years working with the Laser Pro documentation system or similar. - Commitment to professional conduct, exceptional member service, and maintaining a positive professional appearance and demeanor. - Leadership qualities such as mutual respect, trust, and integrity, acting in the best interest of the Credit Union at all times. - Willingness to attend credit union training sessions, conferences, or seminars as approved by supervisor, and perform Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) functions as applicable.
