Job Description: As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in our mission by leveraging your expertise in healthcare systems and data analysis to support our clients' objectives. You will work independently and collaboratively with our team of Statistical and Data Analysts, contributing to the development of high-quality deliverables. Responsibilities: Maintain strict confidentiality and security of sensitive information in compliance with company and client protocols. Build and conduct analytics contributing to fraud prevention efforts in Medicare and Medicaid programs. Identify anomalies and outliers in healthcare data to detect patterns of fraud, waste, and abuse. Develop and execute complex analytical models using tools such as Python, R, SQL, and SAS. Extract and manipulate healthcare claims data stored in cloud environments. Stay informed about Medicare and Medicaid policies and policy changes, evaluating their impact on fraud detection models. Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to junior analysts, ensuring the quality of project deliverables. Effectively communicate procedures and results to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Lead or participate in team projects and brainstorming sessions to explore various methodologies for study designs. Stay abreast of industry changes, trends, and regulations relevant to the project. Requirements: Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related field OR equivalent experience. Minimum of 6 years of data analysis experience, with at least 3 years within the healthcare industry. Advanced knowledge of analytic, mathematical, and statistical methods. Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid claims, ICD10 codes, and HCPCS. Proficiency in analytical software such as SAS/SQL, Python/PySpark, R, and Databricks. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Ability to respond to tasks in a cooperative and timely manner. Demonstrated adaptability to change and willingness to collaborate within a team environment. Additional Requirements: Must be able to pass a public trust background check.
