We're looking for a motivated Staff / Senior Fund Accountant to contribute to the day-to-day accounting of our venture capital funds at a leading startup accelerator and venture capital firm. Role Overview: As a Staff / Senior Fund Accountant, you'll work closely with our Finance team, assisting in maintaining and managing the books and records of multiple funds. This role is ideal for a self-starter with a strong work ethic, a detail-oriented mindset, and a passion for numbers. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain and manage fund books and records - Prepare financial statements and partner equity allocations - Assist in portfolio company valuations and performance tracking - Process capital calls, distributions, and invoices - Support the annual audit process and interact with external auditors - Manage investor portal and limited partner inquiries - Contribute to special projects as assigned by senior management Requirements: - Ability to work autonomously and efficiently - Proactive approach to deadlines and tasks - Enthusiasm for accounting and attention to detail - Authorized to work in the US Skills: - Proficient understanding of U.S. GAAP and partnership accounting principles - Strong Excel skills - Excellent communication and organizational abilities Experience: - Asset management experience preferred - 2+ years of accounting experience - CPA or similar qualification preferred Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, commuter benefits, 401(k) matching, parental leave, and more.
