As a Technical Director - Developer and Integration Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing, researching, analyzing, troubleshooting, and consulting on software applications and systems. Your main focus will be on developing and supporting integrations for the University’s Salesforce CRM, in collaboration with the National & Global division’s Salesforce team. Key Responsibilities: Collaboration: Work with Salesforce business leads, Business Analysts, Administrators, and other team members to analyze, design, develop, test, debug, install, implement, and support the Salesforce platform and related integrations. Cross-Functional Work: Ensure the platform and applications meet organizational standards through collaboration with various resources. Technical Expertise: Provide high-level technical solutions and guidance on customizations and database designs. Integration Development: Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and other applications in conjunction with the Enterprise Architect. Customizations and Troubleshooting: Develop and troubleshoot both code-based and advanced declarative customizations on the Salesforce platform. Consultation: Offer consultation for unresolved issues and questions from end-users. Monitoring and Maintenance: Develop, monitor, and maintain integrations to ensure smooth operation. Qualifications: Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree is preferred, though a combination of education and experience will also be considered. Experience: 3 to 6 years of experience as a technology professional, either internally, as a consultant, or in a similar role. Proven ability to work effectively with diverse communities and cultures. Experience in fast-paced IT environments and large-scale CRM & business system projects. Previous experience in Higher Education is preferred but not required. Familiarity with Ellucian Colleague (ERP software) and Salesforce (especially EDA module) is preferred but not required. Knowledge of Jitterbit (data integration platform) is preferred but not required. Required Skills: At least 2 years of software development experience and 1 year of database programming experience. Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve complex technical issues related to CRM environments. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical staff, including end users and business leadership. Basic understanding of IT concepts such as Active Directory, TCP/IP Networking, Virtualization, Security, and Programming. Proficiency in MS-Office products. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented and collaborative approach.
